The Parade of Seniors event at Central Florida College attracts nearly 2,000 people each year.

We need your voice and your story! Volunteers are the most credible ambassadors for Hospice of Marion County. If you enjoy meeting the public and speaking to groups, we can put your skills to good use.

If your strength is one-to-one communication, we have many opportunities for you to represent Hospice of Marion County at health fairs, church events and community activities throughout the county – handing out brochures, give-aways and talking to people about our services.

“Koffee Klatch” sessions led by Lila Ivey and Lisa Varner, at left, are informal discussion groups held twice a year to keep our volunteers updated on hospice news and our calendar of community events.
