Thrift Stores

Volunteers at our beautiful thrift stores assist in a variety of ways: sorting through donations, serving customers on the sales floor and operating the cash register. Our volunteers are a key component to the welcoming and helpful atmosphere in each store.

Because of the volunteers’ dedication of time and talent, our stores generate a net income of more than $170,000 each year. This allows Hospice of Marion County the necessary funding to provide hospice care to any patient regardless of the ability to pay.

Everyone loves a bargain!

Thrift store fashionsDid you know Hospice of Marion County thrift stores provide great fashion shows for many local organizations?

Your club or group can plan one of these unique events by calling (352) 873-7441 to schedule a date. Jewelry and clothing modeled at the show may be purchased at our stores.

Often the stores receive valuable donations of antique collectibles, jewelry, furniture and miscellaneous treasures. These items are sent to a designated Hospice of Marion County booth at the Mossy Oaks Antique Mall in Belleview.
