There is no greater honor than to serve in the military of our great country during times of conflict or peace. The sacrifices they make know no bounds. Even in peacetime, conflict may arise—compelling those who serve to make the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and its people.
In recognition of their service, Hospice of Marion County has established Walls of Honor as tributes to loved ones, either living or departed. An honoree’s name and insignia of the branch of the service will be laser-engraved on a polished black plate. The plates are installed on a flag-shaped plaque and placed on the Wall of Remembrance of your choice at the Hospice Education Center, Estelle’s House, Sylvia’s House, The Legacy House and The Tuscany House.
You may take pride in knowing your tax-deductible $100 donation ensures we may continue to serve the needs of the community, while at the same time commemorating your loved one. A letter from Hospice of Marion County acknowledges each
donation and provides information for the contributor's tax files.
In honor of the veterans who have served our country well in war and at peace, at home and abroad. Lest they never be forgotten, their deeds, great or small, today enable us to say “With liberty and justice for all.”
The first Wall of Honor was dedicated in Fall 2009 at the Legacy House. Click arrow buttons below.
