Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs Presentation at Hospice of Marion County Oct. 21

Hospice of Marion County (HMC) is hosting a presentation by Carol Borden, Founder and CEO of Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. on October 21 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at The Elliott Center, 3231 SW 34th Ave., Ocala. This 501C(3) organization was started in 2010. They train medical service dogs to mitigate the challenges associated with several disabilities, including: PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), seizure disorders, glucose imbalance, mobility issues and more. Guardian Angels have paired more than 300 individually trained medical service dogs with deserving recipients since beginning their service.
